This project involved linking all Eterna Plc’s regional offices to a centralized Head Office colocation data centre. The goal was to eliminate fragmented IT environments across branches by consolidating infrastructure, reducing ISP and IT maintenance costs, and enabling organization-wide access to shared IT resources including Active Directory, file servers, and managed print services.
Key Deliverables
Branch-to-HQ Network Connectivity
Linked 8 locations using dedicated VPN tunnels and MPLS (Multiprotocol Label Switching) where required
Consolidated all offices under a single ISP service agreement with QoS for voice/data
Setup site-to-site VPNs using Cisco and Mikrotik routers to ensure secure encrypted communication
Directory & Server Resource Unification
Enabled Active Directory domain join across all branches (eternaplc.com)
Synced all branches to access shared resources such as:
Central File Server
Intranet Services
Microsoft Exchange Server / 365
Print Server
Managed Printing Deployment
Deployed central print management server for tracking and quota control
Installed multi-function printers (MFPs) across branches and linked them to the central print server
Implemented printer driver mapping via Group Policy
Security & Failover
Configured firewall rules at all sites for secure access
Set up failover 4G backup links for critical branches
Enabled read-only domain controllers (RODC) in Abuja and Port-Harcourt for performance & redundancy
